Hi, I'm AK! I'm a North Carolina–born wedding photographer, originally from Charlotte with roots now in the mountains of Boone—places I’ll always consider home.
Currently based in Austin and available for travel, my work has taken me wherever meaningful moments are unfolding.
My story with photography started early—always documenting, always observing—but it became something more during my senior year of high school when I began photographing the people around me. What followed was a degree in Commercial Photography and, eventually, a clear realization: my work is about people and the moments that can’t be recreated.
Weddings became a natural extension of that.

Anna Kate is a dream! Anna Kate has gone to great lengths to capture my husband and I’s most special days. From taking our engagement photos on the river and then traveling to Florida for our wedding! She is such a joy- and you feel at home when you are with her. AK is kind, genuine and so talented!!
